Love it. Was on vacation with just 2 outlets, this came in so handy. So happy I bought it.
Works ok as a hub, but gets too hot with SSD inserted. SSD starts throttling after few minutes due to poor cooling. Unusable clipped to iPhone as it heats up the phone itself until it shuts down after few minutes.
Compact, easy to use, adequate number of outlets
I used this with a USB 4 port and a Western Digital SN850X (PCIe Gen4) 4TB SSD and it hasn't had any issues so far. I'm also connecting this to a Pluggable USB4 hub. I tested the exact same SSD in a UGreen enclosure which had active cooling and got about the same speeds. I saw no signs of thermal throttling in the short term at least.
Either way, with a PCIe 4 or 5 M.2 I suggest a small and quiet cooling fan to sit any of these enclosures on for extended use.
My only issue is getting the cover off after installing a drive since there is no notch or any way to grab the edge to lift it when the putty strip is sticking to it. So, some sort of notch to get it open would be helpful.

We are using them on a cruise now. They work great. Cabin only has 2 outlets, this gives us 8. Use magnet hooks and an extension cord that the ship provides and run on each side of the bed.
I like the product. Only problem I have is the software, on my Mac mini not all language is converted to English. And on my iPhone when I log out the language reverts back too( I'm gonna say Chinese)so I have to figure out how to get English back. I do have several Orico products and enjoy them all. Thank you.
Great product!!! I travel a lot and this saves my bacon in hotels that offer horrible plug choices (bad/loose outlets, or no outlets at all)…it allows me to keep all my devices charged and located where I want them.

The team works well with PCs, but there are problems with Android devices, there isn't much information or support.
It gets extremely hot. So the review is not that nice. Otherwise a nice product.
Just the right size . Perfect for travelling.
The idea and the build of the product is fine, but I found significant drawbacks. Two stand out : 1) With the internal SSD, it heats up very much up to the point where it is painful to hold and feels dangerous to leave attached to the iPhone 2) With my iPhone 17 ProMax the device keeps creating and the loosing the audio output in an endless cycle of appearance/disappearance rendering it pretty much useless. This did not happen with another iPhone but I find it really problematic
Picked up a prime day special, as it claimed it worked with Mac OS. it does not work at all, none of the drives, which were formatted and previously mounted individually, are visible to either the system profiler or drive utility with Mac OS Monterrey.
please please offer ptm2 compatible enclosures as an individual item .. it's a really cool product that's unrepresented in this category. only 1 or 2 other module style storage solutions exist and they are extremely expensive. this offers the functionality of a module style docking station at an affordable price . great product great quality so far no complaints
