Storage works as expected with my Mac mini. Setup was easy and done in a few minutes.
It was smaller than I expected. It was very simple to setup and use. I am using it as a backup for the new geekom computer that have just purchased. Everything is just so quiet after using hdd drives for so long. Love it.

Wrong Order.
I took it for NVME 2242/2230.
Where as it is mSATA.
Initialy I wanted to use it for iPhone, but since it is mSATA and can't be installed in NVME 2230/2240 Case. It is useless for me.
Can I return and exchanged it another compatible SSD.
Using it iPhone 15 to Transfer files.
It is fine using the files app of iOS.
I wish there was an application like SanDisk which has better functionality.
I used both in Orico CF56 Pro as catch.
Still testing it but seems to work OK
It worked flawlessly. But speed was not as expected.

This is the second Orico flashdrive I ordered. I use Orico because of speed and the ease of transferring files needed to save. Although, the cost is too high, and there are hundreds of cheaper flash drives
Very practical as the cable is required. No unsafe or impossible plug ! Love the handle too.
Nice quality device but the fan is really loud and constant, even when the Mac is idle. I expect this when under heavy load, but not constant.
Delivery was also rather slow
The housing worked well, although the secure plastic do hickey was very minimal. Other than that, it did exactly what I wanted to do which was transferred data from this SATA drive to a SSD…rather quickly. Using Carbon Copy Cloner it took less than an hour to transfer 700gb, which included verification time. I was pleased.

It does what it is supposed to do. And this it does really fast. And last but not least, provided the lifetime is acceptable, at a really good price.

The ORICO Studio Link looks nice but does not work.
I try to connect the Studio Link to tree different computers (MAC and Windows11). None of them recognize the Studio Link correct. But all of these computers work correct with other docks or high speed USB C SSD´s.
The support from ORICO was poor. I tested a lot of different cable and USB interfaces. Installed and reinstalled the drivers. Spend a lot of hours but finally a nice looking piece of scrap.

I have emailed that this SSD is not working and nobody bother replying my email. I am stuck with it. Maybe want to return it. My MAC cannot read it its doesnt open and message something I dont understand. it pls revert back ASAP
