I bought this for use with my laptop, so neatness and portability was a plus for me.What I don't understand, is why the description for this product doesn't make more of how small and compact it actually is. Sure, you can take a guess based on the size of the USB A ports; but somehow, they've managed to make it look huge in the photographs. Those laptops must be the smallest devices they could find... Not sure why. Compactness is a much bigger selling point for me, and I was startled when I saw how small the box for it was!Anyway... All the ports worked on mine. For the price, USB 3.0 is fast enough for me, and in any case, I am using it to attach mouse, keyboard, etc - things that don't require superfast performance.The ports are a much snugger fit (at least, at first attempt) than most USB hubs are. I don't expect this will be a problem - after taking a few things out, and reinserting them, they seem to be loosening up okay.If I need another USB hub in the near future, this one will be on my list.
This is a decent hub for the price. It seems impossible to have enough ports, so this helps. The cord is longer than many on the market, so I appreciate that. Works fine.
