ORICO Power Brick UK Plug 25W GaN 6-in-1 Charging Station

This is a nice compact multiplug extension lead with just 2 mains sockets, so compact but also has 2 USB-A sockets and 2 USB-C sockets that support high speed charging (20W PD), which are very useful. I ordered it to help with a problem with a multiplug I had plugged directly into a wall socket, where the weight of the adaptor, plugs & leads it supported were dragging the adaptor out of the mains socket. This multi plug adaptor is now plugged into this 2-way extension lead, where the vertical weight is now not a problem. But I also have extra sockets to work with.

This ORICO extension lead is a high-quality unit that feels much more substantial than I expected. It arrives in a nicely presented box, and the first thing I noticed was the impressive thickness of the 1.6m wire and the well-welded plug. It is a clean, bright white colour—not one of those weird off-white shades you sometimes see with budget electronics.The Product: A 6-in-1 desktop power strip featuring 2 AC sockets (up to 3250W), 2 USB-C ports, and 2 USB-A ports. It includes a 1.6m cable and features fast-charging technology and overload protection.My Experience: I really like the layout of this unit. The USB ports are conveniently located at the front, and the 3-pin sockets on top are oriented so that the wires exit toward the back, lining up with the main power cable. This keeps the desk looking very tidy. It is a larger unit than some others I’ve seen, which makes it perfect for testing items on my desk or powering my daily accessories.The only area for improvement is the stability on the desk. The unit has four little molded plastic feet (nipples), but no rubberized grip. Because the main power cable is so thick and strong, it tends to pull the unit to one side. Once you have all the plugs in, the weight helps, but I think it definitely needs some aftermarket sticky feet to keep it firmly in one place.The Ideal User: Anyone looking for a sleek, high-capacity charging station for a desk or bedside table where they need both USB and traditional plug access.The Deal Breaker: Stability. It is a fantastic, well-made piece of kit, but you will likely want to add some rubber feet or mounting tape to stop the heavy-duty cable from sliding it around your desk.Summary: Well-built, aesthetically pleasing, and very functional. I don't know about other people, but I have most of my PC equipment plugged in out-of-sight, but I often need to plug something in temporarily. I previously had a spare eight-socket extension lead on my desk for this purpose, but that was huge and almost always underused. I was therefore on the lookout for an extension with fewer sockets.Additionally, a number of times I wanted to plug in a USB charger to charge something, so this extension having built-in USB-A and USB-C charging seemed ideal. And fast-charging is a real plus for devices that support it. My phone does, but I often plug in things like Raspberry Pis, USB-powered weather stations, USB-powered fans, etc., and all of these are generally happy with a 5V supply only. Hence QC and PD charging being a "plus" for me rather than an essential, as I normally charge my phone overnight in another room. But it is there if I need it.The extension works well, and the only thing I would have liked is a power switch (or two) to control the mains sockets (and even better, a switch to turn off the USB sockets so they don't need to be powered when not in use).The cable length is ideal for my setup as well, and the whole ‘business end’ is nice and compact on my desk. The orientation of the mains sockets is such that their cables don't pass over the top of the USB ports, which makes sense, although it does mean that if you have the extension oriented so you can see the USB sockets then mains plugs need to sort of go in upside down/backwards, if you see what I mean – pointing away from you. I will get used to that.

Amazon delivered it in their usual fast and handy recyclable parcel box.Build and DesignThis is a cute little two socket extension with an additional four USB slots on the side. There are two USB A and two USB C charging slots.The build is all plastic - a white matt style which looks fairly nice.The cord is a 1.5m standard twin core and earth .In UseI installed this under my computer desk in my office, powering a shredder and a storage heater. Both worked with no issues and the USB slots are extremely handy for all the various USB devices I have - it's good to have a mix of A and C as there are still quite a few companies selling USB A goods and a lot of people who have devices with this USB A legacy charging still around. As new devices are bought, more USB C slots will be. needed.ConclusionA good, 'neat' extension cable that can be placed wherever you have USB devices and the need for sockets like an office desk or a bedside cabinet. Recommended for this use case.

The white color is nice, i liked it and clean for my bedroom. Very compact and useful. It works well and does the job great for all my electronics. I am super satisfied with this power strip. Considering its current price tag which is £23.99, it may be a bi expensive but still a very good quality product.
